GENERAL CONDITIONS OF SALE


1. PRICE
The Sale Price, in Euros (EUR), corresponds to the price in effect during the purchase process, this includes VAT at the current rate.
When applicable, the purchase price of the product is increased by the price of transport and / or delivery.

2. SHIPPING
Shipping to Mainland Portugal: DPD;
Shipments to Madeira and the Azores: CTT;
Others: GLS; UPS.

The ICEL online store undertakes to deliver the orders, properly packaged, after payment confirmation.
The order is delivered to the address indicated by you. The store only dispatches on weekdays until 3pm. Saturdays, Sundays and holidays are not counted for the estimated delivery of orders. Any delays in transport are the responsibility of the transport companies and do not confer the right to compensation.
Your order will be shipped when all items ordered are available for dispatch. Delivery times may change during festive seasons such as Christmas or during holiday periods.
Shipping costs are free to be shipped to mainland Portugal, for orders of € 10.00 or above (final amount to be paid).
Orders can only be considered lost after confirmation by the shipping company.

- IN YOUR HOME:
The order is sent to the address indicated by you. As soon as the goods are shipped from our facilities, an informational email and a Predict SMS are sent by the carrier.
We kindly ask you to correctly indicate the delivery address (name, street, number, postal code, city and country), where someone must be present to receive it.
For security reasons, you must indicate the name of the person who will receive the goods.
It is mandatory to provide a mobile phone number for contact, to be used by the carrier to send an SMS Predict.
Orders will not be sent to PO or postal code boxes.

- IN PICKUP POINTS:
Pickup points offer convenience and ease, 7 (seven) days a week, at the most practical time.
When purchasing, you can choose the most convenient Pickup store to pick up your order.
As soon as the order arrives at the destination point, you will receive an SMS Predict of alert, by the carrier, having then 10 (ten) working days to collect your order. A 2nd SMS is sent 2 (two) days before the deadline expires and the order is returned to ICEL, S.A.
- DELIVERY IN THE ISLANDS (MADEIRA AND AZORES):
The order is sent to the address indicated by you. As soon as the goods are shipped from our facilities, an informational email is sent. Orders will not be sent to PO or postal code boxes.

- INTERNATIONAL DELIVERIES:
The order is sent to the address indicated by you. As soon as the goods are shipped from our facilities, an informational email is sent. Orders will not be sent to PO or postal code boxes.
Delivery prices will be calculated automatically when finalizing the order.
ICEL, S.A. is governed by the legislation and selling authorizations in force in Portugal, and is not responsible for shipments of products that are not authorized to be sold at the place of delivery. Any seizure of the respective orders is the responsibility of the customers. In case of return of the products, only the amount corresponding to those products will be refunded.
Orders shipped outside the European Union are subject to an order of € 50.00.
Customs duties and other costs charged by the destination country are the responsibility of the User.

3. DELIVERY TIME
The delivery time is 2 (two) working days, after payment confirmation. If there is a stockout, we will inform you immediately.
Delivery times may change during festive seasons, such as Christmas or during holiday periods.

After payment of the order has been made, the average shipping time is as defined below:

4. PAYMENT
ICEL, S.A. offers the User several options to proceed with the payment of his order:

BANK TRANSFER:
You should validate your shopping cart, and select the option “Bank Transfer” as the payment method. You will have access to our bank information. If you choose this method of payment, you must send an email to encomendas@icel.pt, with the transfer receipt and respective order number, in order to speed up the process of sending the items. Payment is valid after confirmation by the bank. After the payment is validated, you will receive a confirmation email. After this confirmation, the order is dispatched.

CREDIT CARD / PAYPAL:
Paypal, recognized worldwide for the security of transactions, is the simple, fast and secure way to pay for your purchases online. Includes VISA, Mastercard and American Express credit cards. With PayPal, your financial data, such as credit card and bank account numbers, are not shared with ICEL, S.A. nor with third parties.
To pay with a credit card, without having a Paypal account, you must select the option "Pay with bank account or credit card". Payment is valid after confirmation by the bank. After the payment is validated, you will receive a confirmation email. After this confirmation, the order is dispatched.

5. EXCHANGES AND RETURNS
If, for any reason, you are not satisfied with an order, the purchase and sale contract can be terminated within 14 (fourteen) days after receipt of the order.
The communication of free termination of the contract must be made by the User to ICEL, S.A., by email, to the address encomendas@icel.pt.
After communicating the desire for exchange or return, ICEL, S.A. will then send an email to the User with the instructions for making the return.
ICEL, S.A. will only accept returns or exchanges of orders in their original condition and packaging, accompanied by the respective invoice.
Upon receiving the returned goods, and the evaluation by our customer support team, an email will be sent to confirm the return.
In case of termination of this contract, all payments made will be refunded to the User. The refund will be made through the same payment method in the initial purchase, within a maximum period of 30 (thirty) days after receiving the returned goods.
The User must fully bear the costs of returning the goods in the event of exercising the right to freely terminate the contract.

6. WARRANTY

LEGAL WARRANTY
The legal guarantee is applicable to the products identified below. All other products are covered by the ICEL unlimited warranty.

- Tojiro knives;
- Anti-cut gloves; anti-heat gloves and steel gloves;
- Aprons for boning;
- Knife sterilizers;
- Bobet knife sharpeners;
- Sharpening stones.

In accordance with the legislation in force (Decree-Law no. 67/2003, of 8 April, with changes introduced by Decree-Law no. 84/2008, of 21 May), all products sold on www.icel.pt, not covered by the unlimited warranty, are covered by a guarantee of conformity of the goods corresponding to a period of 2 (two) years from the delivery of the asset.
If the purchased product has a defect or malfunction in manufacture or materials, the User must report the situation to ICEL, SA's Customer Support service, informing his order number and the description of the defect or malfunction, which will inform him of the procedure:

Upon receipt of the item at the premises of ICEL, S.A., it will be checked and, in the event of any lack of conformity, the item will be repaired or replaced, if repair is not possible. In this case, ICEL, S. A. will send the repaired item or new item to the User's address at no additional cost.

ICEL UNLIMITED WARRANTY
We offer unlimited warranty, against any manufacturing or material defect, on all products of the ICEL brand. Damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse or abuse is not covered by this warranty.
