Wood is a material that is pleasant to the touch, and gives knives character and beauty. Each handle is unique and special.
But remember, knives with natural wood handles need and deserve special care, in order to maintain the stability, texture, dimension, color and appearance of the handle.
Knives with wooden handles should only be washed by hand, and dried immediately after washing. From time to time, you can apply a little bit of mineral oil, beeswax, linseed oil, or even coconut oil to the handles to revive the shine, moisturize and seal the wood.
1 - Wash your knife with a wooden handle only by hand, immediately after use, with a non-abrasive sponge and detergent;
2 - Dry your knives immediately after washing, preferably with a soft cloth, to avoid corrosion and stains caused by calcareous water and detergents;
3 - Moisturize the wooden handle of your knife with a little bit of mineral oil, beeswax or linseed oil, to waterproof the wood and maintain its appearance;
• Wash knives with wooden handles in the dishwasher, because hot water and plenty of it can compromise the dimensional stability of the handle and its appearance;
• Leave your knife with food residues or acidic juices, to avoid stains and corrosion;
